Uri Barak is a partner in the firm’s commercial and corporate department, with special emphasis on corporate transactions, equity and debt financing (including both public offerings and private placements), mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and commercial transactions. Mr. Barak represents a broad range of Hi Tech companies in a wide range of industries and transactions, including in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, financing rounds and strategic alliances. He regularly advises his clients on corporate governance, securities laws and IP matters.
Mr. Barak was born in Israel and studied at the Faculty of Law of the Tel Aviv University. In 1997 Mr. Barak earned an LL.M. degree from the NYU School of Law. Between 1997 and 2001 Mr. Barak practiced law as an associate at White & Case LLP in New York, NY and later at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP in New York, NY. In 2002, after returning to Israel, Mr. Barak joined Doron Cohen – David Cohen, Law Offices and in 2006 he and three other partners merged with Tulchinsky-Stern & Co. Law Offices to form Tulchinsky Stern Marciano Cohen Levitski & Co.
