Doron Stern



Doron Stern is a Hebrew University Law School graduate, and was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 1985. Following articulation in the Supreme Court of Israel, Doron joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher, in New York City, as a foreign associate. Upon his return to Israel in 1988, he joined Y. Raveh and Co. to become a partner within one year, and gained recognition especially in Hotel and corporate matters.

He founded Tulchinsky Stern & Co. with Menachem Tulchinsky in 1995, and after a few years the practice centered on Hi Tech law, start-ups and venture capital, which was started in Israel at that time. The practice quickly grew, with record breaking mergers and acquisitions, the attendance of all Jerusalem Venture Partners fund formations and transactions, and Mr. Stern was noted as leading lawyer in Hi Tech, Cyber, and Hi Tech Taxation in Israel. He worked with some of the best venture capital funds which were investing in Israeli companies, as well as with angels and lucrative private investors who are active here.  Doron keeps a strong association with leading US law firms in the Hi Tech arena, and many of the transactions are handled in co –operation with them.

Doron handled numerous investments, exits, and commercial transactions which startups typically practice.

Doron advises various aspects of venture capital and technology companies, including tax matters, corporate and commercial terms. He continues to address other international matters, including trusts and estates, off-shore matters, anti laundering and international dual tax treaties, as well as international commercial law.  Throughout his practice Doron continued to practice commercial litigation, on selected cases, and believe that the combination of the two benefits to perspective of both commercial as well litigation handling.

Doron served as a Judge in the disciplinary court of the Israel Bar Association (IBA) for 12 years and the Supreme Disciplinary Court of the IBA.
